Each of the 15 top hospitals in Norway uses high-quality procedures, tools, and medical instruments to provide patients with the best possible care. The Temporal Artery Thermometers made by Exergen Corporation are in use in over two third of these hospitals, including the top 3.

Approximately 80,000 medical experts from 27 countries participated in Newsweek’s online survey (doctors, hospital managers, health care professionals). Surveys of patient experience were also included in the research. Hospital satisfaction, hospital recommendation, and satisfaction with medical care are examples of survey topics. Newsweek also used key performance indicators (KPIs) on hospitals. The data includes information on the quality of treatment and hygiene measures.
