To all Exergen Industrial Distributors and Customers:

| April 14, 2020

First, we hope you continue to be safe and healthy. It’s been a trying 2 months, and it’s not over yet.

On March 31, Charlie Baker, the governor of the state of Massachusetts, extended the order requiring all “nonessential” businesses in the state to close or operate remotely until May 4, 2020. This is a stay at home advisory, as across the nation people are urged to stay at home, and only go out when they need to buy what’s needed for their families at home, get some fresh air and exercise, or go to work if they are “essential”.

Essential business in our state are Health Care/ Public Health / Human Services, Law Enforcement, Public Safety, First Responders, Food and Agriculture, Energy, Waste and Waste Water, Transportation and Logistics, Public Works & Infrastructure Support Services, Communications and Information Technology, Other Community-, Education-, Or Government-Based Operations And Essential Functions, Critical Manufacturing, Hazardous Materials, Financial Services, Chemical, Defense Industrial Base, Commercial Facilities, Residential/Shelter Facilities And Services, Hygiene Products And Services, and Construction-Related Activities

Our Medical Division has the task of providing the frontline with Exergen TemporalScanner thermometers, the medical professionals and first responders need our product more than ever, now, to combat COVID-19.

Our Industrial Division staff has switched over duties to assist the Medical Division. I am always available to answer questions. I hope we can reopen on May 4th when the stay at home order advisory ends, if we can’t we’ll do the best we can to catch up once we do open back up. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss your business with us, it is important and we all need to work together by taking care of the health of our people first. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!

Sincerely,

Bob Harris
