Nicole Henke, author of Bless Their Hearts blog, recently tried the Exergen Smart Glow TemporalScanner. She wrote about her thoughts and experiences with the TemporalScanner on her blog.
She starts by writing about how impressed she is with the recent updates, including the illuminated display, and the thermometer’s ability to retain up to 8 previous temperature readings, which she says “is really important if you are monitoring the fever readings for the doctor's office!”
She continues by discussing how easy the Exergen Smart Glow TemporalScanner was to use. “It is SO easy to use the unit! You just turn it on, wait for the beep, scan your child's forehead, and read the temp/ SO easy, even a child can do it!” She continues with a little background information, explaining the support behind the TemporalScanner, “Favored by renowned pediatrician and author Dr. Laura Jana for its ease of use, temporal artery thermometry is among the most accurate and convenient methods to take a sick child’s temperature – and it is backed by more than 50 clinical studies proving its accuracy.”
