The DermaTemp is a high precision hand-held infrared thermographic scanner designed to detect the subtle skin temperature variations caused by underlying perfusion variations. These instruments instantly measure surface temperature on any location on the human body.
Available in three models, each is self-contained for one-hand use, can be conveniently carried in a pocket, and features a patented automatic emissivity compensation for absolute accuracy. The pencil-like stainless steel probe on the RS version is convenient for hard to reach areas. The DT-1001-LN uses a full sheath enclosing the entire instrument for maximum protection against cross-contamination. The instruments can be cleaned with any common disinfectant including bleach, and can be gas or plasma sterilized.
The DermaTemp is recommended for use in plastic and vascular surgery, pain management, rheumatology, neurology (especially for diabetic neuropathy), anesthesiology, oncology, and wound management. |
